Team Size: 7-9 Developers
Time: Post Release Support
Genre: VR Video Streaming App
Platform: Gear VR
Joining the Samsung VR team (formerly Milk VR) post-launch, I worked with my fellow developers to improve the user experience and add features to improve the functionality of the app. Better video sorting through categories, search functionality, trending content, and user profile integration were tangible additions which made the app more engaging and user-friendly. While improving our existing app, we took free time to prototype additional VR applications which could add value to the Gear VR platform. These prototypes served as proof-of-concept examples for internal company meetings and proving grounds for new features.
Design Goals:
Polish existing visuals and user interface

Expand application with new features that make the user experience better
